I read a lot of articles by and about professional athletes or trainers… They are all well and good, BUT I couldn’t follow one of their workout routines to save my middle-aged life! And, I am not interested in denying myself the occasional treat. Case in point – I had two (awesome) snickerdoodle cookies last night. Totally worth it even though it blew my calorie count for the day.
I decided to chronicle my thoughts and experiences as an “in-betweener.” You know what I mean. Those of us who aren’t athletes and aren’t couch potatoes. We are somewhere on that in-between scale where we get in some exercise and try to eat healthy as much as possible. I don’t know about you, but I find it frustrating to see so many perfect models of healthy. That’s why I call myself “a little healthy.” 😉
